Where
is the La Natural made?
The
La Natural is made in South America. Here's a nice picture
of the factory. The filter is made in England by Doulton.

process.

How
do I eliminate the Earthy Taste in the water?
Step
1: Fill the upper reservoir with water and let filter
normally.
Step
2: Empty lower reservoir, and repeat Steps 1, 2 &
3 until earthy taste is eliminated.
Step
3: If larger container (e.g. bathtub, or kitchen sink)
is available, submerge both upper and lower units (without filter)
into hot water and let stand overnight. This will greatly
shorten the "priming" process.
The
flow rate is slower than when the filter was first used. How
do I correct this?
Step
1: Remove the ceramic candle filter and wash it with water
ONLY. The ceramic filter can be scrubbed
with a soft brush. DO NOT use soap or
detergents.
Step
2: Shake filter candle vigorously to possibly unclog media
granules inside filter.

The
outside surface of the La Natural is white. What does this mean?
If
the outside of the terra cotta unit appears dirty or the surface
turns white from harmless air-borne molds on the moist surface
of the terra cotta surface:
Step
1: Clean outer surface with a wet cloth ONLY
Step
2: Always leave the terra cotta unit in an open area which
is well ventilated.
The
water remains cool inside the unit because of the evaporation
of water through the walls of the terra cotta.
