the date of purchase, when used in accordance with manufactures instructions. If for any
reason, you are dissatisfied with the product, EPIC will replace it (at no charge to you).
Simply return the unit, postage paid, to the address below with a valid purchase receipt.
This guarantee does not cover improper use, failure to properly maintain unit, or
premature clogging caused by processing overly turbid water. This warranty gives you
specific legal rights.

damages owing to misuse of the goods. EPIC makes no warranty of fitness or merchantability
and no other warranty, oral or written, expressed or implied, except as specifically set

ABSORPTION PROCESS
Removal of contaminants with carbon is a surface phenomenon known as absorption, resulting
from the molecular attraction of substances to the surface water is forced through the
filter.
The rate of absorption is determined by the physical and chemical characterristic of the
quality and volume of carbon used. The flow rate, or time of exposure through the filter,
has been calculated to yield the greatest volume of pollutant and contaminant removal.
This product also incorporates other exclusive media that are impregnated into the
microporous filter for the reduction of pollutants such as lead, cadmium, zinc, mercury,
and copper.
"TECH TALK"
The high-tech porous-plastic micro-filter system contains thousands of interconnected
omnidirectional pores. The "Tortuous Path" structure of these pores gives it a
unique characteristic that cannot be duplicated by any other porous material.
After the filters are installed in the system they undergo a proprietary process designed

OPERATIONS
It's Easy to Use! First, flush the bottle and filter cap assembly by removing filter cap
from the bottle and filling the bottle from any water source (be careful not to overfill).
Replace the filter assembly, and while wrapping fingers fully around cap, tighten cap
securely. Now, just pull the cap's nozzle up and squeeze the water out. Repeat flushing
process four or five times. Now, it is ready to use. Just refill and squeeze the improved
water into your mouth, glass, or container.
MAINTENANCE & STORAGE
When the bottle will not be used for any duration, we recommend that you flush chlorinated
tap water through the system. Allow bottle and filter-cap assembly to dry thoroughly
before stowing.
Periodically clean your filter by brushing it lightly with a clean toothbrush or similar
article. If purchased the 24 oz. bottle with replaceable filter, simply replace the
film-cap assembly on a three to four month schedule to assure the highest quality drinking
water for less than 10 cents a gallon!
